SkyGrid Invitations

04May09

A couple of weeks ago we linked to a story about the launch of SkyGrid, a free real-time financial news aggregator.  The service focuses on publicly traded securities and allows users to quickly scan relevant news items on companies and industries.  The key feature of the service is the ability to quickly get sense for sentiment in any name.

Skygrid is being rolled out in a controlled fashion, so invitations are still limited.  The folks at SkyGrid got in touch with us last week and offered us some invitations for our readers.  These invitations are first come, first served.  However, since the number of invites are limited, we ask a couple of things of you before clicking on the link below.

First, be sure that you are interested in the service as described.  No sense using an invite if you only have a passing interest.  Second, SkyGrid is very interested in user feedback.  So if you use the service and find it of use (or not) please let them know.

With those caveats out of the way, please click the link below to sign-up for the SkyGrid service.  All you need is a name and e-mail address.  We anticipate these invitations will run out quickly, so don’t delay.

Thanks and good luck!

Update:  There are no more invitations available at the above link.  However if you visit our Twitter feed you can find more invitations there. All invitations have now been spoken for.

Quick question: Why does SkyGrid’s “In the News” page only list 2 of the 3 TechCrunch articles on them this year? Is there something wrong with their web crawler?
